Libertyville Cafe Grand Opening

As you may know, this past weekend we celebrated the Grand Opening of our Libertyville Cafe. Since opening on September 1st, we have been blown away by the support of our community, and we were so grateful to officially celebrate that by cutting the ribbon!

Special thanks

We have so many people and organizations to thank as we reflect on opening this cafe despite the challenges it posed. We could not have done this without the support of many.

The Village of Libertyville Staff helped us navigate the very challenging process of applying for special use permits, zoning and text amendments and variances needed to open our doors. These difficult processes are not usually tackled by teams as small as ours, and we leaned heavily on their expertise.

Our incredible team of contractors, who made our crazy ideas come to life despite continuous setbacks.

Our team members who aided us in our final weeks of build-out, especially Dan Fletcher, who framed out our custom planters and cut thousands of wooden stakes for us.

Our cafe staff, especially Tayah Porter, our fearless Cafe Manager, who has led our Libertyville team since before day one. We are so thankful for the staff we have who faithfully and meticulously uphold our company values.

Thank you also to the Chamber of Commerce and Main Street Libertyville, who supported us in our Grand Opening celebration.

A huge thanks to Gurnee Donuts and Nothing Bundt Cakes who gave us amazing delicious treats to celebrate our big weekend.

And finally, thank you to you

Lastly, and most importantly, thank you to everyone who has walked through our doors since we opened. It is surreal to see so many people come join us in our little corner of Libertyville that for so long has been home to only our roastery. We are so grateful for you all!

Here’s to many years to come in Libertyville!
